Optical and Electronic Technologies (OET) is a Research Area part of the R&D Centre for Telecommunications and Multimedia (CTM) at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC).

Our activities can be divided in the following main categories:

• Signal processing for optical communications;
• Fiber supported radio/microwave systems;
• Microwave devices and antennas;
• Design & test of analog, mixed-signal and RF circuits;
• Custom and reconfigurable digital computing systems.

We are always seeking new clients who may benefit from our expertise as well as open to collaborate with new partners/projects.
