Valentino Carneiro and Prof. Henrique Salgado participated in the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS2024), held from June 16th to June 21st, 2024, in Washington, DC.
Valentino entered the Student Design Competition with a 3D printed horn antenna in ABS and copper plating, with a gain of (16.5-18.1) dBi in the range of (26.5-40) GHz. This challenging competition was a great learning opportunity, with many interesting designs presented.
Valentino also received the IEEE MTT-S Undergraduate Scholarship Prize during the awards ceremony at the IMS2024. This award acknowledges his remarkable commitment and passion to excel. Well done, and keep up the great work!
